EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Undergraduate

The undergraduate program was accomplished in Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Faculty of Forestry, Department of Forest Management in 1988 with final project report entitled ” Forest Fire Pattern in Central Java based on Season” under supervisory of Ir. Oemijati Rachmatsjah, MS and Ir. Endang Ahmad Husaeani; Designation : Ir. (Engineer)

Master degree

The master degree program was completed from Georg August Universität Göttingen, Germany, Faculty of Forestry in 1993 with thesis entitled “ The Infestation of Varroa jacobsoni Oud. in Honeybee in Indonesia” under supervisory of Prof. Dr. J. Lunderstädt and Prof. Dr. Jost H.  Dustmann; Designation : M.Sc. forest trop. (Master of Science in Tropical Forest Management).

Doctorate degree

The doctorate degree was obtained in Universiti Putra Malaysia, Faculty of Forestry in 2002 with dissertation entitled “The effects of climatic variations on peat swamp forest condition and peat combustibility undersupervisory of Dr. Ahmad Ainuddin Nuruddin, Dr. Jamaluddin Basharuddin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Food See and Prof. Dr. Mohd Rashid Mohd Yusof and Prof. Dr. Johann. G. Goldammer from Freiburg University, Germany as independent examiner; Designation : Ph.D. (Doctor of Phylosophy)
